You get little sad or stressed, one way to get rid of the sadness or stress would be reminding yourself with those happy moments that you shared with your loved ones or your significant others. Unhappiness would have hindered your progress in various activities, especially your work. It’s always a neat idea, when you get little upset, there is a constant reminder that brings back your happiest moments.

The Japanese researchers are getting real serious into making cyborgs - the half-human and half-machine “creature”. Some researchers at Osaka University in Japan are now looking into the possibility of opening up the human skull for planting a little sensor chip in the brain in order to have full control of those robotic limbs.

Paro, dubbed as the world’s “Most Theraputic Robot”, has now gone on sales in the US. The Paro is a cuddly baby sealbot, originated from Japan and there are over thousands of them in Japan being used to treat patients with Alzheimer’s and other debilitating physical and emotional illnesses.

The ApriPoko robot is an interesting little robot that will store all the remote control’s commands. After storing the remote’s commands, it can then respond to your voice. So you will no more have to use the remote control to control your TV or other gadgets. And all your gadgets will have become voice-controlled via this little robot.

BBC reported that machine would be as intelligent as human in about 20+ years’ time. The world will have both the hardware and software ready to mimic the intelligence of human by 2029. An artificial intelligence engineer, Ray Kurzweil says that by 2029, the machine could achieve human level artificial intelligence including copying our emotional intelligence.
Artificial intelligence has existed more than 20 years, but so far it’s still far behind the intelligence of human. Kurzweil predicts that in about 20 years’ time that we could make machine to have level of intelligence, by continuously improving the algorithm that remains as the main roadblock for computer to advance and become as intelligent as human.

The Opto-Isolator sculpture is a black box, a prototype that incorporates robotic technology into artwork to make it more lively. Eventually, there will be some artworks that can exchange eye contacts with human. The black box is having a human-sized eye mounted on the center. It responds well to the gaze of whoever is staring at it.

It’s kind of exciting that you could drive this six-wheel radio controlled robot car to sneak into every room in your office and listen to those conversations and gossips that go around. The RC robot is capable of transmitting its signal up to 150 feet away to its listening receiver.

I have no patience at all for playing around with Rubix cube as I’ve always been busy. But in fact it really takes time for me to solve this kind of cubic puzzle. Perhaps, I’ll need at least 30 minutes or more for a properly scrambled cube. Anyway, the Japanese has developed a new kind of robot, called Cube Kun, which its sole purpose is for solving Rubix cube. And this Cube Kun robot can solve Rubix cubes within seconds.
