Sony has had a couple of 3D-capable devices unveiled at IFA Berlin. One of them is its 3D VAIO laptop which is still a prototype and planed to release in Spring of 2011. The laptop that was shown off at the IFA is based on the current Sony’s VAIO F-series 16-inch notebook. But Sony claims that the eventual production models will be different from the demoed models.

Philips has got an Android-based PMP in its line, called the GoGear Connect, which should serve as an Android-based alternative to the iPod Touch for Android lovers. The GoGear Connect features a 3.2-inch 480×320 touchscreen display and runs Android 2.1 OS.

Apple has announced the 4th and 6th generation of the iPod Touch and iPod Nano respectively in its keynote. The iPod Touch 4G has got a number of new features including the Retina Display, higher pixel density, a 3 built-in axis gyro, two cameras, supporting FaceTime calling to other iPod Touches and iPhone 4 and it’s thinner than the previous generations.

I-Station has brought us the first 3D-capable PMP called the Z3D. The device is powered by Android 2.1 OS and has a 7-inch WVGA 3D screen with a resolution of 800×480, which needs you to wear 3D glasses.

Motorola is prepping an Android slider QWERTY phone, called the Motorola XT300. This slider phone has had some pictures posted on a Chinese forum. The Motor XT300 runs Android 2.1 OS and has a full slider QWERTY that makes it suitable for heavy texters.
