AT&T releases Motorola Atrix HD Android LTE smartphone

Motorola Atrix HD Android smartphone has landed on AT&T network and comes with the support of high-speed LTE connectivity. The handset is the newest member in the Moto’s Atrix line. It’s powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and packs a 1GB of RAM and can be grabbed for $99 only as long you’re subscribed to a 2-year contract on AT&T.

The Moro Atrix HD has its back made of DuPont KEVLAR fiber and an invisible nano-coating that protects it from splash. The handset will come running Android 4.0 ICS. It’s the first in its line having the Moto’s Circle Widget on the home screen, which directly connects you to AT&T and shows you your data usage since your last bill.

It’s also loaded with the SMARTACTIONS app which will change your phone’s settings throughout the day, aiming to make your life easier.

The Atrix HD is equipped with a 4.5-inch HD ColorBoost touch screen with a resolution of 1280×720 and 330ppi. It’s got a front-facing camera, a rear-facing camera of capable of 8 megapixel for static and full HD for video recording. It also has 8GB of internal storage and is expandable via microSD card slot.

It also supports AGPS/GPS, WiFi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Other goodies are eCompass, USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm headphone jack, HDMI port and a 1780mAh battery that can last up to 9 hours of 4G talk time. The phone works on quad-band GSM/EDGE, quad-band WCDMA/HSPA+ and LTE mobile networks.
