Now, a new version of the Extreme Sleeve called Extereme Sleeve 2 has been made available for the iPad 2 by the company. The Extreme Sleeve 2 comes with the RPT (Reactive Protection Technology) edge layer running under the zipper, which provides better impact absorption according to G-Form.
The G-Form Extreme Sleeve 2 also allows your iPad 2 to survive the stringent tests of harsh environments. It preserves the same ruggedness with the Extreme Sleeve for iPad, which let an iPad remain intact when tested with a 500-foot airplane drop and a 12-pound bowling ball drop.
The interior of the Extreme Sleeve 2 has been expanded, making it to better accommodate the iPad 2 with smart cover. These G-Form Extreme Sleeves for the iPad and iPad 2 are entirely made of G-Form’s RPT composite material, a combination of PORON XRD and proprietary G-Form technology and design. Both cases are able to absorb up to 90% of the energy of an impact, which is needed by adventurous users or field workers who are overly exposed to harsh environments.
