Panasonic launches new micro four thirds camera – Lumix DMC-GF3

Panasonic has launched its new micro four thirds camera, known as Lumix DMC-GF3. This camera deserves the crown as the smallest camera from the company, featuring an interchangeable lens and built-in flash.

The Lumix DMC-GF3 weighs 7.83 oz for its body only. You can easily be aware of how lightweight it is by comparing it with a cup of coffee that usually weighs 8oz. The DMC-GF3 is claimed to offer similar image quality comparable to what’s offered by a DSLR with a 12.1-megapixel sensor.

This camera works with a range of Micro Four Thirds lenses in the market, including the 3D lens from Panasonic. It’s also capable of recording video at full HD 1080p/60i and shooting 3D photos by using a 3D lens. It also features precise Auto Focus, accurate auto exposure and white balance.

The Lumix DMC-GF3 is expected to hit the market from July onwards for $700 and come with the 14mm lens kit system . It’ll be available in a number of colors including black, white, red and brown. If you want the 14-42mm lens kit system, then you’ll have to wait till August, which will cost $600.
