This could definitely improve sound quality while chatting with family, so no longer complain about sound is not clear

This is great. I think it would solve the weird echo problem that macs have if you use the built in speaker.

This is great giveaway. I would use it to chat with my girlfriend. She used dragon software very often as a replacement of typing. This would really help her to be more effective.

Oh! I notice that it uses a USB plug instead of a 3.5mm jack. That would be very useful since my macbook does not have a powered mic port. I could avoid buying an apple mic adapter if I had one of these!

I have been looking FOREVER for a microphone like this. As a Music Major, I like to do a lot of recording on the side and unfortunately my current usb mixer is down. Also, my headphone jack no longer works thanks to IT at my school… great job guys! (note the sarcasm) anyway… A USB powered mic would be awesome to have in my arsenal of recording equipment.
