This mic by Samson is a great addition to any chat or online conferencing. I would like two so even if I win on and I would tell everyone where I won it – I will most likely buy another. One for the house desk and one for the lap top so when I travel around the city I will have a fact plug and play mic as well.

It sure is a nice looking mike! Would be nice if it sounds as good as it looks. I’m off to checkout the manufacturer’s webpage to get some more info. I’ve been looking for a good quality USB mike to use on the road for podcasting. It would be nice to ditch the old school mikes and mixing board for a totally portable solution.
I must admit I’m a bit of a sucker for devices that look as beautiful as they perform – wish I could afford them all!

I’m looking to start a podcast as a form of self therapy, somewhat in the same vein as Jay and Silent Bob Get Old. Unfortunately my microphone is about ten years old and sounds somewhat as if it were inside of a large can, or possibly underwater. This microphone would be quite a boon to have!

This is great. I think it would solve the weird echo problem that macs have if you use the built in speaker.

This is great giveaway. I would use it to chat with my girlfriend. She used dragon software very often as a replacement of typing. This would really help her to be more effective.

Oh! I notice that it uses a USB plug instead of a 3.5mm jack. That would be very useful since my macbook does not have a powered mic port. I could avoid buying an apple mic adapter if I had one of these!

I have been looking FOREVER for a microphone like this. As a Music Major, I like to do a lot of recording on the side and unfortunately my current usb mixer is down. Also, my headphone jack no longer works thanks to IT at my school… great job guys! (note the sarcasm) anyway… A USB powered mic would be awesome to have in my arsenal of recording equipment.

I love when they make really practical devices such as this stylish as well. It’s better than having some ugly piece of technology sitting on my desk.
