PowerTrekk has announced a portable fuel cell charger that is lightweight enough, allowing those on the run to keep their gadgets and smartphone juiced up. The PowerTrekk fuel cell charger is able to store hydrogen fuel cell, which turns into electricity for your gadgets. It comes in a rugged and waterproof casing, that makes it suitable for the adventurous geeks to carry it around.
The PowerTrekk charger is a 2-in-1 solution which stores fuel cell and works as a battery pack, a source of power for gadgets. The fuel cell will also charge its depleted main battery.
To use the PowerTrekk device, just insert a new fuel pack and fill its compartment with a tablespoon of water and you’re then good to go charging any gadget via USB. Unfortunately, there is no pricing info about the PowerTrekk fuel cell charger. Watch the clip below showing how it works.
