It’s been a year plus since iTwin was demoed at CEATEC last year. Just to refresh your memory, the iTwin is a USB file sharing dongle that can be split into two parts. You just have one plugged into your computer and the other plugged into your pal’s computer to allow the two computers to share file over the Internet.
The iTwin also uses the 256-bit AES encryption to ensure the data is transfered over a secure channel. But there is no promise of any capability of handling media streaming as what the Infinitec’s IUM does.
The iTwin has now been announced for its availability in the US but with limited quantity of 50 pieces. It’s exclusively available on the iTwin store for $99.
