Sony unveils entry-level DSLR cameras – Alpha A390 and A290


Sony has unveiled two entry-level DSLR cameras, A390 and A290. Both DSLR cameras with a 14.2 effective megapixels for shooting flawless and low-noise images and offer speedy shooting response.

The Sony A390 adds the Quick AF Live View that offers the convenience of live image preview on the tilt-angle Clear Photo LCD with speedy, accurate phase-detection autofocus.

the Sony A290 is dubbed at the most affordable DSLR camera from Sony. It packs the same 14.2 effective megapixels and is housed in a compact body that weighs only 456 grams while without battery and media.

Both A290 and A390 include a mini HDMI port for you can connect the camera to an HD TV using an optional cable. The cameras also support PhotoTV HD for better still image reproduction on Sony BRAVIA models. They also feature BRAVIA Sync which allows the use of the TV remote control to control camera playback functions and slideshow. The two entry-level DSLRs will be available sometime from summer 2010.
