Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet has been unveiled. This tablet is just a bigger version of the Samsung Galaxy S smart phone, similar to how the iPhone was compared to the iPad.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab will most likely run the Android 2.1 OS, with TouchWIZ UI, a front-facing camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This tablet seems to be able to let you make calls as there is a little “phone” icon at the bottom of the screen.
The Samsung South Africa has tweeted more information about this tablet, saying that the device will feature a 7-inch TFT screen instead of the Super AMOLED found on Samsung Galaxy S smart phone. And there will likely be two versions of the tablet, which are an 8-inch model and 10-inch model, to be released in October and December respectively. Currently, there is no pricing information about this Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet.
