Dell has been reportedly making a number of Android tablets. A leaked document also shows a roadmap which Dell was to be debuting a number of Android tablets over the course of time. Another Android tablet which Dell is currently working on, is codenamed Dell Looking Glass tablet, which is to run Android 2.1 OS.
The Dell Looking Glass tablet packs a 7-inch screen with WVGA resolution, which looks pretty much like a larger version of the Dell Streak 5. This device will be powered by an nVidia 1 GHz T20 CPU, have a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, wireless b/g/n connectivity, 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM.
The device also offers optional mini card type 3G modem and a digital TV module, which lets you have choice of 3G Internet, while you can’t hook up to WiFi and receive digital TV broadcast on the run respectively. The Dell Looking Glass Android tablet will be made available sometime in the 4th quarter this year.
