The Sharp’s 10.6-inch glasses-free 3D displays still lack of technical details that we’re most interested in, such as how it’s able to achieve 3D viewing without needing you to wear 3D glasses. Currently, the available information is the Sharp’s 3D display is still in its prototype stage. It’s an LCD, with touchscreen capability and it has a button which lets user easily switch between 2D and 3D modes.
Technically, the display could be based on Mobile 3D Display. And the 10.6-inch 3D display is extremely thin. Sharp hasn’t yet unveiled when they’ll mass produce the 10.6 inch 3D LCD and there is no information when the rest of the world will get it.
