Mvix has announced their ULTIO Pro full HD Home Theater Media Player, which is an HDD based 1080p media player that comes available with two models – the SANS integrated HDD and the premium model that boasts a 2TB HDD.
The ULTIO Pro supports a wide range of HD video codec including the H.264, MKV, Dixv HD, MOV, VC-1 and FLV. The device also features a PVR (Personal Video Recording) functionality, which allows you to record your HD TV programs. It’s loaded with a Torrent client for downloading clips from Torrent and with NAS capability, which can be hooked up to the network for sharing the media on it.
The premium model comes with the support of wireless N WiFi, while the standard comes as an optional at extra cost. It’s now available as pre-order. The standard version costs $169, whilst the premium model with a 2TB hard drive costs $348. It’s a great device to bring home for playback and recording media in full HD quality.
