Silex’s SX-3000GB is a USB sharing device that offers up to Gigabit network speed that solves most of the congestion problems experienced on other USB network-sharing devices. The Silex device comes with two USB 2.0 ports and a 10/100/1000 RJ45 network port. And each USB port gets the standard 500mA power.
You can also hook up a USB hub to the Silex’s SX-3000GB to connect to additional 13 USB devices to a total 15. The Gigabit bandwidth offered by this device is best for sharing bandwidth-hungry USB devices such as hard drive or webcam over the network. It should hit the shelves in the near future with a price of $99.
