Google has confirmed that they’re prepping a new Android 2.1 powered device for their employees worldwide. This Android phone is the real Google phone and has been given a name called Google Nexus One Phone.

The Google Nexus One phone looks like an iPhone but with slightly bigger screen, with a scroll wheel, great touchscreen and it runs Android. The Nexus One phone is an unlocked GSM phone which suits all careers worldwide. It’ll also be sold online as well in early 2010 but the price is unknown.
Nexus phone actually is purported to come with a 3.5-inch super high-res touchscreen OLED display. It’s thinner than the iPhone, has no physical QWERTY but with two mics and is powered by Snapdragon processor. The second mic is at the back, which is meant for eliminating background noise.
The Nexus phone also has a weirdly large camera. It’s also loaded with voice-to-text application, so you can simply speak directly to the phone instead of having to type. This should be a great app for emailing and composing notes.
The Google phone is being built by HTC with a lot of input from Google. It seems to be a tailored version of either the HTC Passion or the related HD2.
