GefenTV wireless HDMI extender is able to send HD video from the player to an HD display that is up to 100 feet away. The HD video delivered over the air is able to maintain the quality of 1080/30p with Dolby 5.1 surround sound within the 100-feet distance.
This wireless HDMI extender uses Amimon’s 5GHz wireless technology, which is deemed to be able to deliver squeaky-clean and lag-free HD video over the air. The extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is to be hooked up to a video player, whereas the receiver is to be attached an HD display.

You can do one to one video streaming from a Blu-ray player to an HD display. Or you can switch over to a broadcast mode which supports up to 5 remote receivers getting the same video. The main issue is the price, costs $900, definitely sounds expensive to most people.

No one’s gonna pay $900 for this, especially since its not even uncompressed HDMI. Also, it does not work on the HDMI outputs of regular DVD players and Blu Ray Players for HDCP. Who are buying this stuff? Home installation companies trying to sell this to unsuspecting home owners?
