Syba has produced a high-tech jewelry box, called BioMirage Coffer, which comes with extra security to protect your jewelries extra safe in it.
The primary method of security of this jewelry box is to use fingerprint authentication. Meaning that the owner of this box will need to set up the box to recognize his or her fingerprint in order to open the box to get those jewelries out.
In the case that an unlucky owner who happens to have burned his or her fingertips, then a USB key can be used to plug in and open the box. The USB key is supposed to store the same authentication pattern, which shall be used as a failsafe when the fingerprint reader fails to read your fingertips. But of course this jewelry box does not protect your precious jewelries from fire. If you wanna be free from the worry of fire, then you’d better get a fireproof safe to keep all your precious jewelries.
