Presented to you here is an hourglass which has been removed with the sand and filled with LED lighting to turn it into a glowing hourglass lantern.
The hourglass functionality is still retained even though it’s now filled with LEDs instead of sand. When the LED Hourglass Lantern is flipped over, luminescence will slowly decrease in the top chamber and increase in the bottom chamber, which shall work similarly to an ancient hourglass.
Besides working like a hourglass, it’s been added with modern elements such as you’ll be able to adjust the rate of the light (which represents the sand) flows. Unfortunately, this LED hourglass is just a concept developed by Young Bok Kim. It shall make up as a good decor for your living space, if it’s made as a real product.
