Tower Defence - pretty addictive flash-based strategy game on Desktop, has now got a version for the iPhone?
Not exactly, the version of Tower Defence on iPhone is called Fieldrunners, which looks pretty similar to the real Tower Defence. For those who ain’t know about Tower Defence - it’s a strategy game that you need to build up towers to stop enemies from crossing the map.
As usual, the Fieldrunners can be purchased from Apple App Store for a price of $4.99.
You get four types of tower to buy and build in this game. They are Gatling Tower which is cheap and for short range, Goo Tower for slowing enemy down, Missile Tower for long range and good against air units and the Lightning Tower which is expensive and powerful.
The game seems to come with an upgrade pretty soon, which the next version is expected to come with more levels, maps and new towers. Video of the Field runners game in action is attached below:
