A PC made of Lego bricks

Lego bricks-made PC again!
A Lego-bricks PC case mod is not new to us, we’ve seen one of these before. But somehow, we’ve got another one made by Mr Anderson, which is also a PC that is made with Lego bricks.

The creator of this Lego-bricks-made PC, was pretty serious in building up the Lego PC. He even got into designing the entire PC using a CAD (Computer aided design) software tool, the MLCAD, which is specially made for designing Lego bricks and modeling how those bricks can be put together to form a solid shape.

The Lego PC was built in Mini-ITX form factor due to the creator wants something small that also consumes low power. His initial intention for building this Lego PC was he needed a web/development server and he wanted it in a small form factor. So, he decided to use some Lego bricks to put them up together piece by piece to form a box that the size is satisfactorily small to him. I really admire his patience and passion into putting all these up together.

Couple of high-end components stuffed into the Lego-made PC case, including a 1.5GHz VIA C7 processor, Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB hard drive, a JetWay motherboard with dual gigabit ethernet ports etc. Some components sourced from eBay etc. He’s also included a video which you can take a look below of his Lego PC building process. Overall, I think the effort is simply too much, just for the sake of wanting a PC with small form factor as a web development server.
