Western Digital has just launched their new storage system, the My Book Mirror Edition dual drive storage server. The little specialty of this storage system, is it works like RAID 1 system that automatically mirrors your data.
The basic protection given to our data these days is to duplicate another copy of it. The WD 2TB storage system just does it nice for you by automatically mirroring your data onto its second hard drive. This new WD storage system is best used by home and small office users, especially those dealing with large volume of media, to give their data extra assurrance.
This WD storage system also comes with a software that helps automate the continuous backup of your data from your personal computer. This storage system is now available in two versions. The 1TB version costs you around $290 and the 2TB costs less than the double of the price of 1TB, which asks for $550 only.
