Samsung has unveiled a super thin 40-inch LED backlight HDTV that measures only 3mm in thinness. Called the Samsung Needle Slim, a 3mm thickness should qualify it to be as thin as needle and world’s slimmest.

Microsoft has officially released a tool, called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (WUDT), which allows the creation of a bootable USB installer for its Windows 7 OS. USB installer provides the convenience for installation of the Windows 7 on netbooks, which eliminates the need to hook up an external DVD drive.

Mobiado has got another luxury cellphone to show us here. It’s called the Mobiado 350 Pioneer, the phone is space-themed, has a body that was CNC-machined from spacecraft aluminum, resulting in a super hard surface that could probably survive through the hits of meteoroids and comets.

A prosthetic hand called smart hand is being developed by researchers in Italy and Sweden, which allows the patients to have feelings in the fingertips.
The smart hand was tested on some patient, where it had four motors and forty sensors linked directly to the brain. They had surgery to have the patients’ nerve endings linked up to receptors in the prosthetic hand, enabling the patients to have feelings in figertips of the hand, even though it is not really part of the body.
The smart hand is the first of its kind that sends signal back to brain. It has taken the researchers 10 years of hard work, and finally they have one that at least allows those who’ve lost their hands to regain little sense of touch.

Toshiba is introducing their new type of fuel cell charger, Dynario, which is refillable to regain its electricity to charge your gadgets. The Toshiba Dynario fuel charger will be good alternative to solar charger or hand-crank charger, which the former will let you down during night time and the latter will waste too much of your energy to wind it.
