A new Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet has been announced at MWC 2011. It’s called Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 instead of Samsung Galaxy Tab II. As what its name suggests, the device packs a 10.1-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a Tegra 2 processor. This 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet also runs the Android 3.0 HoneyComb OS, which has been designed specially for tablets.

There will be lots of smartphones to be unveiled at MWC 2011. Motorola Pro is one of them that has just been unveiled. The Motorola Pro is an Android smartphone that comes with lots of features aimed at business users but consumers should also find it useful as well. The Motorola Pro runs Android 2.2 Froyo, is powered by a 1GHz processor along with an internal storage of 2GB that is also expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The data on the SD card can be encrypted and even erased remotely when necessary.

Sony Ericsson has a number of smartphones shown off at MWC 2011 including the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Xperia Arc and the Xperia Neo. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is the first certified Sony PlayStation gaming phone that you’d have been waiting for.
