Bloom Energy has readied its palm-sized Solid Oxide fuel cells which pack sufficient power to power an entire home, despite their tiny sizes. These small power devices have been used by Google and eBay to provide part of their power used on their campuses. Bloom Energy’s CEO, KR Sridha first created the technology meant for producing oxygen to allow people to live on Mars. But unfortunately, the project was scrapped by NASA, therefore the brainy CEO reversed the technology, allowing it to pull Oxygen for the fuel cells instead of pushing it out.

HP thinks that you need a little handier device to be aware of almost everything including incoming calls, text messages and social networking activities of your friends etc. Finally, HP has decided to team up with Fossil to come up with a watch called the Metal Watch. And of course, it’s meant to be worn on your wrist which serves as a hub for other mobile devices.

The new version 4.0 Evernote is even described as the “biggest iPhone and iPod Touch interface update ever”.

MIT has created an actuated surface called the Recompose which offers 3D gesture controls. The Recompose actuated surface works like an interactive 3D display that has images projected in a 3D manner but allowing you to interact with those 3D images using gestural inputs.
