The HypnosEye can now let you project directly of what are on the iPhone screen. And of course it works with the iPod Touch, and other mobile gadgets as well.

The device does not take the video signal from the iPhone, what it does is only the analog way of projection. By sliding your iPhone into it, it can simply blow up the image on the iPhone screen onto a projection surface. This kind of projection will definitely not give you much brightness.

But the makers of HypnosEye claim you’ll be able to get an projected image size from 17 inch to 45 inch diagonally from a distance of half to 2 meters away. This should be good enough when you want to project what is on your phone and the setup should be much quicker than having to hook up an external projector to the iPhone.

The HypnosEye kit comes included with the projection lens and a portable 17-inch diagonal projection surface. It’s available at Japan Trend Shop and runs you about $80, a price that is much cheaper than any portable projectors in the market. Watch the device in action in the clip below.

The alarm clock claims its shape reflects the duality and unity of sleep/wake cycle. No much idea why it’s called Milky Way. Perhaps it’s because of it’s in little milky color or it is a small replica of the Milky way the goes across the clear night sky.

Of course, the bomb-proof wallpaper is currently meant for military use, which will be considered by armed forces in Iraq and Afghanistan to re-decorate their army bases with it. The X-Flex bomb-proof paper is made from a Kevlar sheet which is held between to sheets of elastic polymer wrap.

The video below shows how a wrecking ball was used to test and hit the walls with the wallpaper. With the X-Flex on the backside, the ball could not bring the walls down. Without the wallpaper, the walls crumbled on the first hit.

Here comes the Fujitsu F-04B, which is different from conventional slider phones as it can be separated into two parts.

The Fujitsu F-04B measures 11.4×5.1×20.4 cm and weights about 173g and it boasts impressively long standby and talk time, which are 600 hours and 330 minutes respectively.

This Fujitsu smart phone splits into two parts, which the first part contains most of the electronics and is where the 3.4-inch 480×960 touchscreen display is. The second part is the QWERTY and a slider device with numeric keypad. This obviously provides more space to grip and type on the QWERTY.

The two split pieces are able to connect to each other via Bluetooth and the Bluetooth capability allows them to stay apart up to 10 meters. And interestingly, you can make separate calls using the split pieces and each of them has their own built-in speaker and mic.

Other goodies include HSDPA, a 12.2 megapixel camera, a connector for a Felica smart card, which allows it to be used as an electronic purse payment. It’ll be available in Japan in March/April next year but no word for the pricing.

But it’ll be a headache when having to wash the fish tank or sometimes it’ll be little annoying having to feed the fishes too. Now with this spherical gadget, called the Ocean Theater, you can easily turn your apartment walls into a virtual fish tank; one that you’ll never have to wash and you can have it anytime you want.

The Ocean Theater can work in several modes, e.g the Closed mode can even turn your apartment wall into an ocean which has 120 types of sea creatures living in it. It has lots of fishes, dolphins, sharks and you name it, to be projected on the walls.

You can also adjust different background sounds such as playful sounds of dolphins or noise of lapping waves to give you the soothing effect. You can also dock your iPod on it to play some music once you’ve got little bored with the ocean and the creatures.

These RC cars should be pretty fun to have, it may deceive some people as if they’re giant spiders that have invaded your living space.

The Aero Spider RC cars come with a “laser” gun as the remote control. It works similarly to the Infrared tracker car that we’ve seen before. The user will need to use the gun to project red light beams which the Aero Spider cars will follow the beams anywhere they go. The Aero Spider cars are equipped with light sensors that can catch where the light beams go and follow them exactly.

The Aero Spider RC cars are the products of Takara Tomy from Japan, and will be available in Japan in early November for a price of ¥6,000 (appx. $65 USD). The video below shows they can crawl the walls.

If you’re big sports fan, you’ll definitely be interested in knowing the speeds of your favorite runners or cars. The device is so tiny, claims to be the world’s first pocket-sized radar detector, which is useful for sports coaches and fans to measure speeds that they’ve always encountered in life.

Such as it can be used to track the speed of a baseball pitcher or how fast your favorite driver could drive. It is easy to use, offers one-touch operation, just press the red button in the center of the device, and the speed reading will be shown on the display.

It uses Doppler radar signal detection, similar to what larger radar guns do and the accuracy is within 1 mile per hour. Battery consumption is not a worry, allows up to 10,000 measurements on a set of AAA batteries. Slated to launch in the Spring of 2010 and showcased at CES too. A clip attached below shows you how it works.

Hitachi is no exceptional, currently working with Canesta and GestureTek for a new line of television that will be able to recognize the user’s hand gestures.

Using hand gestures to control the TV set eliminates the need of remote control. This of course provides more handiness to the users which waving of hands only allows you to operate the TV. No more fighting for remote control among couple and family members. And also no more misplace of TV remote control.

The two mentioned companies that work with Hitachi, have their own roles in bringing the gesture-controlled TV sets to reality. GestureTek is basically focused on software that is able to recognize hand gestures and defines which gestures control which TV functions.

Canesta is responsible for the hardware that captures 3D image of the hand of the audience, so the system can differentiate between your hand and a picture of your hand.

The Hitachi gesture-controlled TV would allow each user to have their own setting of hand commands stored in it. It’s always wise for a user to set some simple enough gestures for switching channels or jumping to your favorite channels. So you can always be ahead of your partner for doing so. Watch the demo in the video below.

A new kind of fabric called the Sonic Fabric which is made from 50% colored thread and 50% recorded audio cassette tape. And this fabric has been used to make some neckties, which can carry some tunes and you can even listen to the tunes on the neckties.

To listen to the incomplete or scrambled tunes on the neckties, what you need to is to sacrifice an old walkman. Take the front cover off, stick the magnetic playhead out with helps of some glue and clothespin, plug in headphones into the walkman, rub the playhead along the surface of your necktie. Watch the clip below how it’s done.

These audible neckties will run you $90, but they may be useful when you’ve got too bored with your days, which you can then ready your screw drivers, sabotage an old walkman and listen to some tunes on the neckties.

There could be lots of food debris stuck in between of each key of the keyboard. If it’s a computer shared by many hands, the keyboard is even dirtier and it can even pass germs from one to another.

Here comes the Vioguard keyboard, the first of its kind that features a UV sanitizer that can kill germs and viruses. The sanitizer is a 25-watt UV light that claims to be able to kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses in about 90 seconds. Leaving the 0.1%, which should be defendable by your own body immune system.

Some more, this keyboard is motorized, equipped with IR sensor, which hides itself when it’s not in use so it will not get contaminated by dust and dirt around. Wave your hand in front of the IR sensor, it’ll come out to serve you.

The Vioguard self-clean keyboard was introduced at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) 91st annual meeting, October 12-17 in Toronto. It aims at medical market uses and consumers in Canada. The keyboard should appeal to health-conscious geeks, especially during the time when H1N1 flu is still pretty active over the globe. Equip one of these for your family who possibly share only one computer at home. But it’ll run you with an expensive price of $899. Video below shows the self-clean keyboard in action.

Unless drivers could see through all these blocking walls or obstacles on the roads, accidents would then be able to reduce a lot.

Now researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have made it possible for drivers to see through road obstacles by having built an augmented reality system that brings the see-through capabilities to car drivers. How does the AR system do that? Basically, the system consists of two cameras, one captures the driver’s view and a second captures the scene behind a view-blocking wall. The feeds from the second camera is then picked up a computer which layers it on top of the images captured by the first camera, to make walls and other obstacles appear transparent.

The system can be extended to combine any roadside cameras, which will be made capable of transmitting feeds wirelessly and displayed on the car’s windshield instead of a monitor to make the drivers’ life much easier. The system also makes use of advanced software to minimize distortion of moving objects in the captured images.

The device has got a few differences from what were said by the rumors.

The Bold 9700 has got a 3.2 megapixel camera, the screen resolution is 480×360 instead of 480×320, and it’s to run the latest BlackBerry OS version 5.0. The 9700 has also taken out the usual trackball found on most previous models of BlackBerrys and replaced it with an optical trackpad that was first started by Curve 8520.

The BlackBerry Bold will support tri-band 900 / 1700 / 2100 and quad-band 800 / 850 / 1900 / 2100MHz 3G, which is a perfect fit for AT&T, T-mobile and a multitude networks in Canada and Europe.

No specific carrier has been announced by RIM for the 9700, but leaving us with teaser claiming that it’ll come to all carriers worldwide in November.

The use of an Intel Atom and other components of a computer allows the robot to be easily programmable.

Hobbyists can develop or alter the application software for this robot. You can code the software on a computer, make some changes and then download to the robot for testing. This Vstone Robovie-PC comes with almost everything found in a computer ioncluding the 1.6GHz Z530 Atom processor, 1.3 magepixel webcam, dual USB ports, a VGA connector and it supports WiFi some more. The WiFi connectivity should come in handy for you to download any new code onto it via the wireless network.

Since this mini robot is like a complete computer, it also runs Windows or Linux as the operating system. And it offers easiness to achieve advanced functionality. The Vstone Robovie Robot can also be directed by the user to go around and take pictures using its webcam and upload the pictures automatically to photo sharing sites via the WiFi connectivity.

The robot is powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery. The exterior body is made of a polyurethane foam that provides electronic protections with soft and squishy material properties. The 15-inch tall Vstone Robovie won’t come cheap, it costs around $4,500, could be the most expensive in the market but it offers lots of flexibilities for hobbyists to customize or develop it to have more functionalities.

Or at least they would have given you some headaches which they all take up lots of space in the recycle container, and in return you will need to have a bigger container that will also take up some space in your apartment.

In order not to spend additional bucks to buy bigger recycle container or to save some space for your tiny apartment, it’ll be a good idea to crush all those used cans, so they will just need a smaller container to hold them.

Here comes the Automatic Aluminum can crusher, which shall automatically start crushing those used cans into smaller pieces once they’re in its mouth. This Can crusher is the first of its kind meant for households instead of industry. And the interesting part is it works on battery and requires less power than those industrial units. Watch the prototype of the can crusher in action below.

Basically the Wacom Bamboo range consists of a number of input devices including the Bamboo Pen & Touch, Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch, Bamboo Pen* and Bamboo Touch, which each can be hooked up to your computer’s USB port to be used as an inpout device to manipulate graphics and text on your computer.

Depending on the device, each of them you’ll normally have a touch tablet or a pen, or both. The touch tablets respond to multi-touch inputs from your fingers, which you can use to manipulate graphics, scroll web pages, read documents, flip through photo album. And the pen tablet can be used to write documents, emails, letters, and make various sketches or scribbles.

All these Bamboo tablets are backed by useful software applications such as ArtRage painting software, Bamboo Dock and Bamboo Minis. The video below shows the Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch in action.
