MSI has also announced their Wind U135 netbook, which is the first in Wind model that features the Intel Pine Trail platform. The Intel Pinetrail N450 Atom processor is one that has various improvements over the previous Intel Atom processors. Such as it’s smaller, with improved performance, built-in graphics and lower power consumption. The N450 processor is intended for use in netbooks or portable devices.

Seagate has announced their super thin 2.5-inch hard disk drive for super slim laptops. The Seagate’s Momentus thin HDD measures only 7mm in thickness. The drive is also one of the lowest-priced storage options for netbooks, ultra-portables and laptops.
There is no pricing information for the Seagate Momentus Thin HDD, but it’s known that they’ll be shipping these drives to their OEM and integrator partners at the very beginning of 2010. The Momentus Thin will come in two storage capacity options, 250GB and 160GB which are suitable for netbooks. Read more in the press release below:
