The Japanese company, Bandai seems to have developed the love of insects. They’ve produced couple of robotic insect toys. What is shown in the picture is probably the most hated by many people – Mr Cockroach.

I always carry the same tune – Geeks who always stick in front of their computers simply have no free time to go and watch a live band concert. Now, Hammacher has come out with a trio of pint-sized robots that makes up a mini live band that goes pretty well on your work desk. So, anytime you can hook up your iPod or any music player to this robotic mini live band, blast your tunes, and they can then run their live concert just on your work desk for you.
This group of three, robotic musical group is called Bandroid, which they have a lead guitar player, keyboardist and a drummer. Each can play extremely well for their part of beats. And they’re interconnected that can move in unison with each note, chord, or beat played. The Bandroid group also comes loaded with nine of its own digital loops in the case you can’t find any nice tune to play along.

SolidAlliance has got a new USB gadget to show us. This time it’s no more those not-so-useful food-shaped gadgets anymore. It’s a USB powered remote control car. You’d probably be curious about how a USB powered gadget can be remotely controlled? Are we talking about wireless USB here? No, it’s not anything to do with wireless USB.

USB eye massager? It definitely leaves me a big puzzle. How does it work? To me, it’s more appropriate to be said as a USB scissors. So, you could collect the rest of the members, such as the USB rock, paper, which allow you to play “rock, scissors, paper” on your computer.

This box simply looks sophisticated with couple of toggle switches, a big red button and seems like loaded with a bomb. If you weren’t the right owner who got the pass code in order to access its inner layer, a miss-touch would lead to suicidal explosion and turn you into part of the debris in the air. Please bear in mind too, this isn’t something that you could carry on board. Or else you’ll be treated as the most dangerous terrorist or drug smuggler ever. Is that a real Suicide Bomb Box or all the buttons and switches are simply faked for fun? What do you think? It’s just joke, Officer….But I feel like there is a pretty high chance of getting you detained at the airport if you were caught of carrying this box on board!

No more lies! You’d better tell the truth in front of this little piece of circuit board. It seems like the two lie-detecting techniques developed by researchers, the Psychological Stress Evaluator (PSE) and the Voice Stress Analyser (VSA), have been incorporated into this little gadget. It’s called Truth Machine, which is dubbed as capable of detecting if you’re telling lies by capturing and analyzing the stress of your voice. Read the rest of this entry »

Again, it’s for the movie Transformer. While it’s still hot, Brando has grabbed the opportunity here to release the Transformer Bumblebee MP3/iPod speaker, simply to coincide with the movie. This Transformer Bumblebee is only a speaker for your MP3 player or iPod. The little specialty with this guy is it dances along with your music and also flashes its lights along with the beats. A little annoying is it seems to ruin your music by mixing it up its own kind of “TRANSFORMER” sound effects.

What an amazing RC car that simply goes against the law of Physics. It’s a wall climber. While playing the AIR HOGS Zero-Gravity RC car, you won’t face those common obstacles that you face with other RC cars, such as those annoying doors and corners or having no space to drive it around.

Again, someone wants to take another challenge for the power of termites, has another gadget made of wood. That’s the Tree Camera, which is meant for sound but not for vision. It’s an MP3 player that is made into the shape of a camera. If you leave it on your work desk, it’d have most probably misled your colleague to pick it up and start pulling its lens cover off by force. Anyway, it’s just an MP3 player with 256MB built-in memory. It supports music files such as MP3, WMA and OGG and can be hooked to your PC’s USB port. The Tree Camera comes in three color options, which are the pink, blue and the natural. A wooden MP3 should be more lightweight than any average MP3 player or even your iPod?
