An super old mobile telephone (Mobira handset) is housed in a case that big enough to hold all the components needed for a complete computer. The Finnish modder Jani Pönkkö has removed the guts of this 25-year-old mobile phone and stuffed it with all the necessary electronics to form a media PC.

Those we’ve been in the IT industry for quite some times should have heard of Huawei – the China company which has been “aggressively” competing with Cisco in router business. But it should sound little new to you that Huawei is also producing smart phones. One of the Android-powered smartphones, called the Pulse which will ride on T-Mobile was built by Huawei.

Most conceptual gadgets are simply too far to be achieved using today’s technology. But this one, a multi-functions electronic device by designer David Turpin, shouldn’t be too difficult to make one using what we have today. It is simply a device that clams number of functions on it including a MP3 player, a clock, a radio and a calendar.

An iPhone dock can be easily made by using a few bolts and nuts and one or two pieces of plastic within your hands reach. As shown in the picture, it’s another homemade iPhone dock made using bolts and nuts. Unfortunately, no instructions were given on how this iPhone dock was made. The good thing about optical or laser mice is you do not have to clean it as what you used to do with the stupid ball mice. But the main problem with optical mice is they do not work on reflective surface. But the newly announced Logitech optical mice are exceptional as they feature Darkfield technology, which allows them to work on any reflective surface.
