One of the great features of an Android smartphone is it lets you voice search or use voice commands, which is very useful especially while your hands are busy with other tasks. Now, the iPhone can also have the voice search and voice-activated commands, thanks to an app called VoiceActivator that makes it possible on a jailbroken iPhone.

Rumor mill has started rolling again, claiming that a super phone called the HTC Pyramid to arrive at T-Mobile this May. The rumored HTC Pyramid is also a 4G smartphone that offers high-speed HSPA+ data connectivity and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor (MSM8x60).

LG is said to have started testing 3D displays that will be equipped by many upcoming mobile phones. The first spotted handset that will come with the LG 3D display is the LG Optimus 3D which has juts got its very first image leaked before its official announcement.

Motorola have used the powerful NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor for both their two recently announced 4G smartphones, the Motorola Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic 4G. Other than the two smartphones, an upcoming smartphone, the Droid X2, also known as Motorola Daytona, is also said to feature the dual-core Tegra 2 chip when it launches in May.

HTC Flyer is the tablet that has been talked pretty much over the Internet lately. The HTC Flyer has now got some specs leaked before its official announcement. According to the leaked specs, the HTC Flyer will be available in models of 10-inch and 7-inch.
The 7-inch HTC Flyer tablet offers a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024×600, identical to what the Galaxy Tab has.
It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, HDMI port, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and facial recognition and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing that is good for video calling with Skype pre-installed.

Robii is the first robot that comes equipped with a built-in pico projector and aims to provide projections of educational slides and interactive games for children. The Robii robot is a product of Compal Communication and it uses a LCoS based pico-projector made by Himax.

NFC payments have earlier rolled out in S. Korea and Japan but it’s still pretty new in the US while operators are still prepping their networks to be ready for the NFC payments. The first NFC-supported device is the Google Nexus S, putting Apple behind for rolling out NFC-enabled devices in the US market.

Nokia has been pretty quiet recently but rumors claim that it’ll finally launch a serious smartphone in its line, known as the Nokia N9 at Mobile World Congress at Barcelona. The Nokia N9 is said to be powered by an Intel 1.2GHz processor which is also suspected to be a Moorestown platform (a system on a chip with an Atom processor core).
