MenQ EasyPC netbook, E102, is an unusual netbook that comes with a RISC (Reduced instruction set computer) processor that is compatible with the x-86 processor. There are two versions of processor for this netbook which are the 1.2GHz and 1.6GHz and they can support Windows XP.
But since the processor is based on RISC architecture, it also means not all XP applications are able to run on it. The reason that the company chose a RISC processor instead of the x86 chip from Intel, AMD or VIA could be the cost. As this netbook will be targeted at about $160 for dealer and the street price could be in between $200 to $300.

Sony has unveiled their latest laptop, VAIOX to the VAIO family at IFA 2009. The VAIOX laptop is pretty thin, measures only half a inch in thickness and it’s got a screen size measures 11.1 inch, so you can imagine that it’s just slightly bigger than a 10-inch netbook.

Most netbooks do not come with a DVD player, unless you hook up an external player to your netbook. Or else you will need to install those software via a USB flash drive. But most installers of Windows software are available on DVDs, especially operating systems such as Windows XP, Vista and & etc.

Most conceptual gadgets are simply too far to be achieved using today’s technology. But this one, a multi-functions electronic device by designer David Turpin, shouldn’t be too difficult to make one using what we have today.
