One of the iOS developers, Jason Ting, who has developed an iPhone 4 app that allows the LED flash of the iPhone 4 to be used as a flashlight. A free version of the application is integrated with iAds and allows him to make $1,372.20 in just one day with iAd.

iCub aircraft from SportairUSA has made it possible for an iPad to be used in the cockpit for navigation and receiving real-time weather info etc. The iCub aircraft belongs to the Light Sport Aircraft category, which is actually a fun-to-fly airplane instead of a serious aircraft. So, it’s possible to use a cheaper device like iPad instead of the costly FAA-approved GPS device.

The iPad screen does not support pressure sensitivity but guys at Ten One Design have made this possible by a little application that makes the iPad screen capable of reacting differently to varying degree of pressures. So while you’re using a stylus to draw different lines on the iPad screen with different pressures applying, you’ll see lines appearing with different thicknesses – the thicker the line or dot on the screen resulted by the harder you’ve pressed on the iPad screen using the stylus.

The next version of Android OS will likely be the Android 3.0 and called Android GingerBread. A number of handsets have only been known to just start getting their upgrades to the latest Android 2.2 Froyo OS but it seems that the Android 3.0 aka Gingerbread will likely be pushed out sometime in October.

It isn’t the first time that we’ve seen sunglasses have a USB drive that hides in them. Calvin Klein has had a pair before and now the Le-Samourai Eyewear is another pair of sunglasses that carries a detachable USB flash drive in its frame.
