According to Engadget, they’ve got reliable sources telling that the next generation iPhone and iPad, which are the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 respectively, will use Qualcoom chipsets instead of the Infineon chipsets used in the GSM version of iPhone 4.

The Motorola Atrix 4G is one of the many 4G smartphones to be headed to the US operators. The Atrix 4G handset was shown off at CES 2011. The handset packs an amazingly powerful a Tegra dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a micro SDHC card slot that supports up to 48GB of memory. The latest excitement about this handset is it’s very likely to be launched on the AT&T on March 1st 2011, according to some leaked AT&T internal documents.

It’s time for the cellular network operators to start implementing NFC over their networks, to allow mobile phone users to make use of their NFC-enabled handsets to make payment at subways, stations or convenience stores etc. Three new BlackBerry Curve smart phones have been published with leaked pictures and specs, and they all come with the support of Near Field Communication (NFC).

NEC has had its dual-screen Android tablet, known as LT-W Cloud Communicator shown off at CES 2011. The dual-screen NEC tablet is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex processor and it packs two 7-inch 800 x 600 TFT LCD touchscreen displays.

Some leaked documents claim that Samsung Vibrant 4G is a new 4G phone, created based on the Samsung Vibrant and to be headed to the T-Mobile. The handset is a 4G LTE capable phone which offers you with super high speeds of up to 21+Mbps. This is higher than the currently available 4G smart phones on the T-Mobile, myTouch 4G and T-Mobile G2 which are capped at 14.4Mbps.

Motorola has high hopes for its Xoom tablet and has ordered 800,000 units to ship in Q1 2011. The company will first ship the WiFi-only Xoom tablet first in April 2011. Motorola has placed ordered from its suppliers, with four color models that make up the 700,000 to 800,000 units, and suppliers are expecting the total orders of the Xoom to reach 1 million in Q1 2011.

We’re not too sure yet how true it is. But news and tweets are popping up from various sources claiming that Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook will shut down in March. The main reason is managing the biggest social networking site, Facebook, has caused Zuckerberg too much stress and ruined his life.
