If you haven’t given up and been wanting to install Siri on older generations of iOS devices, then you’ll have to grab the Spire. Spire is deemed as the first legal Siri port for jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 4G and 3G and both iPad 1 and iPad 2.

There are lots of smartphones and tablets from many different brands running the Android OS. So it’s no surprise that there are tons of Android devices activated everyday. Back in June, Andy Rubin of Google announced that there were about 500,000 Android devices activated daily. And now the numbers have increased to over 700,000 Android devices activated everyday.

iOS 5 can be jailbroken but it’s stil limited to tethered jailbreak which means every time you restart your iPhone, you’ll then have to hook it up to a computer. This is definitely inconvenient for some users who do not always have a computer around.

If you want Siri, you’d better get an iPhone 4S as what I did. Well, there is an unofficial Siri hack out there which is known as H1 Siri and made available earlier this week. The H1Siri allows older models of iOS devices to run Siri but there seems to have no pleasant experience on using H1Siri on older iOS devices.

Many have started complaining about upgrading to the latest iOS 5.0.1 doesn’t seem to have fixed the battery life problem on their iPhone 4S. I do feel the same although I didn’t time it exactly.

The iPhone 4S has been giving problems of poor battery life with most users complaining that they’re not able to reach end of the day. Now, Apple has released the iOS 5.01 update which fixes the poor battery life of your iPhone 4S.

Siri works quite conveniently on the iPhone 4S, especially when you don’t feel like typing lots of text on the iPhone’s touchscreen keyboard. You can simply talk to Siri and get it to make a call, send an SMS, set up a reminder and more.

The voice assistant, Siri which has been designed to work only on the iPhone 4S, has been ported to an iPad 1. Of course, it’s a jailbroken iPad that has got the port. But unfortunately, Apple does not authenticate the requests from the Siri on the iPad, meaning it doesn’t work at all.
