I have no patience at all for playing around with Rubix cube as I’ve always been busy. But in fact it really takes time for me to solve this kind of cubic puzzle. Perhaps, I’ll need at least 30 minutes or more for a properly scrambled cube. Anyway, the Japanese has developed a new kind of robot, called Cube Kun, which its sole purpose is for solving Rubix cube. And this Cube Kun robot can solve Rubix cubes within seconds.
Toyota is not the only car manufacturer that has stepped into the robotic era. Honda has also got their humanoid robot to show us, which is called Asimo.
Toyota has been pretty aggressive for making some cool robots to show us. Still remember they used the Robina robot to guide visitors at their exhibition? The RC flying robot talks, drives on land and is capable of performing incredible aerial stunts while flying in the sky, such as flying over a range of over 300 feet, a flying speed of up to 30MPH and over 20 stories in height. Roaches are simply annoying and scary looking for some people. Have you ever thought of a brutal slaughtering of roaches in a big group, so you can get rid of them once for all from your living space? If you wanna do such a nasty killing of roaches, you’ll need to find a way to gather them at a place and then kill all of them at once. So sorry that I have such a brutal thought in my mind. Of course, gathering roaches is simply no easy task, as roaches are cowards. Once you lay your hands, they’ll have fight for their ways out to run away from you.

As long as you’re brainy enough, you can be a robot scientist to make the LEGO NXT Robot to automate your everyday tasks. As we’ve seen before, someone made it to auto flush toilet and now this time it’s used to light the firework and you just sit back relaxed watching the show.
The robot goat shown in the picture is to eat away the bad luck and frustration of the unlucky gamblers. It is used at the Edogawa Kyotei boat race course in Tokyo for those gamblers to feed this goat with their losing tickets. The intention behind of using this robot goat is to reduce litter inside the facility. Or else those losing tickets will end up of being thrown on the floor. This Rocky Mountain goat is 1.6-meter tall, has a thick coat of white fur and ticket-detecting sensors in its mouth. It can swallow at a rate of about 500 losing tickets per day.
A mod of the Nokia N800 Internet tablet created by some good folks at Nokia by merging the Internet tablet with a robot dog. The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet has now become the head of the robot dog and on its LCD display showing you a lively and cute cartoon face. And the most interesting part is this robot dog has a its own personality, which is hardly found on other robo-pets. For the poor lonely geeks who do not have a partner yet. The Japanese has a cool invention specially made for the lonely, lonely geeky men. It’s called U-Tsu-Shi-O-Mi, which is a humanoid that is mixed with virtual reality that can map a pretty girl and her beautiful actions. While you put on the head-mounted display, what you can see in front of you is a 3D pretty girl that you can touch and “interact” with. The U-Tsu-Shi-O-Mi system maps a pretty girl onto the robot’s anatomically correct, green-cloth surface with the help of a sensor-equipped head-mounted worn by you. The system is currently the research product at Yokohama National University and they hope it can be commercialized. If you’re a damn rich guy but kind of lonely, then it’s your chance of into funding it to get it materialized. Video after the jump.
