Some weird gadgets of 2006! Happy new year, see you all in 2007!

ICool Mp3 Player H-racer Hydro Car
There are still couple of hours before we say goodbye to 2006. Lets take a look at some of the weird gadgets that had hit the market in 2006. I have just picked up 5 out of the 25 that I like most from TechDigest.tv’s list and added two more here:

1. Scratch n sniff MP3 player – This little iCool MP3 player from Japan, which has food-aroma. You have a choice of smell from chocolate, roses, lemon, strawberry, raspberry or blueberry.

2. Nabaztag - This little cute bunny is also in JRConnelly’s list as he fears any machine that’s better at Internet browsing than him. I personally think that this is quite a helpful one.

3. H-racer, the hydrogen car, a futuristic toy car that uses the technology that could power a full-size car in the future. It operates on 100% clean fuel produced by a miniature solar-powered hydrogen refuelling station – which converts water to hydrogen using energy captured from the sun.No combustion occurs inside the hydrogen fuel cell. The only exhaust discharge is pure water. It is really great modeling of the future polution-free vehicles!

4. Nimzy Vibro Blaster, a little gadget that turns any flat surface- wood, plastic, glass etc – into a loudspeaker.

5. Handmade beating heart, just a cushion-like “My Beating Heart”. It syncs to your own heartbeat, makes you calm and happy!

6. IBuzz, simply a sex toy, which makes use of the hot name of iPod to hit the market. Its funtion is the louder you play your iPod’s music, the faster it vibrates!

7. BreathCapture, a test-tube-like pendant, which lets you capture the stinking breath of your loved one and bring it along, so you can smell it anytime, anywhere.

Happy new year ! See you in 2007!

Photo backup with no mouse click, no software setup at all!

December 30th, 2006 by ketyung

Palaroid photo backup
The Palaroid Media Backup Photo Edition is a storage that helps you easily backup your photo (Only your photos). It’s a joint-venture product between Polaroid and Storage Appliance Corporation. Basically it’s a 40GB harddisk that uses the ClickFree technology to make the photo backup process fully automated, i.e, you do NOT need to have any mouse click or key press or any software setup. Simply connect this device to your PC’s USB port, it will then start dragging all the image files from your computer and back them up!
