The SE Kurara is a smartphone that is based on the 5th edition of Symbian S60 and should be included in the SE’s Entertainment Unlimited line-up which is what the Aino and Satio belong to.

The photos of the SE Kurara obviously shows that it will come with a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 8.1 megapixel camera, and the word HD at the back should tell that the smart phone is capable of recording video HD.

The Kurara should be announced in the first half of 2010. The Kurara is currently the internal code name, no official name has been given yet so it’d most likely be released under a different name next year.

The Samsung Saturn i6500 runs Android 1.5, will come equipped with WiFi connectivity which has been confirmed with its WiFi Interoperability certification. The rest of the features of the Saturn i6500 should be similar to what the Samsung Galaxy i7500 has. Excepts it’s powered by an 800MHz processor instead of a 528MHz one.

The Saturn will come with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display that boasts a resolution of 320×480. Other goodies will be HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth and microSD card slot. Unfortunately, no pictures to show how the Saturn looks like. Hope it won’t carry a ring. The Saturn should be released some time next year (2010) with a price around $442.

Despite the sliding feature and the QWERTY, the Droid comes in very slim body that is only slightly thicker than the iPhone 3GS. The Moto Droid is backed by competent hardware that makes it a strong competitor to the iPhone 3GS and Palm Pre. It’s also powered by the same TI OMAP3430 processor that powers the iPhone 3GS. BGR has got hands-on for the Droid, and given a number of positives such as slimmest QWERTY slider and fastest Android device. Read more below.

It’s running Android 2.0. Duh.
- It’s thin. Just slightly thicker than an iPhone 3GS and the thinnest QWERTY-slider we’ve ever seen.

- It is the fastest Android device we’ve ever used. (It’s running a TI OMAP3430 processor)

- The feel of the device is very reminiscent of the OQO 02 model computer. Just smaller. It’s metal with a non-spring-assisted slide, very sturdy, and half soft-touch plastic.

- Awesome capacitive display. Plus it’s huge. Easily the best screen we’ve ever seen on an Android handset, and an amazing screen overall.

- The QWERTY keyboard is actually pretty usable and has a soft-touch rubberized finish. We’ve been told the keyboard design isn’t final on this unit, thus the two no-shows.

- Have we mentioned this phone flies? It’s the Android device to beat, and easily the most impressive. From what we’ve been told, Google had a direct hand in the Motorola Droid. Something to the point of almost dictating every move Motorola made when designing and making the phone. Interesting, huh?

- There’s a desktop cradle/charger that will ship with the Motorola Droid that we’ve been playing around with. It turns your Droid into a “multimedia station” and displays local weather, the time, etc.

- No one wants to listen, but it makes the CLIQ looks like a child’s toy (partly because it is, and partly because the Droid, even in its non-final form, is the most impressive phone we’ve used since the iPhone. It’s positively amazing).

As mentioned the BlackBerry Bluetooth watch lets you receive notifications or messages that have arrived on your BlackBerry smart phone. This watch features a nice OLED display that should make it prominent enough for you to be alerted of your messages. This Bluetooth watch might be named BlackBerry inPulse, which sounds like getting your wrist pulse to stay fully alerted with your incoming messages. But the name isn’t confirmed yet and there is no info on the pricing and availability.

TOKYO, JAPAN–October 6, 2009 — FreeBit Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 3843) today announced ServersMan(R)@Windows Mobile 2.1?, a new cloud storage application for Windows Mobile phones. The app is now available for downloading free of charge on Microsoft Windows Marketplace for Mobile, which started operating today.

ServersMan@Windows Mobile 2.1? provides a true cloud storage service in a compact configuration. The app enables users to share and publish data in a Windows Mobile phone via the Internet, accessing the data in the phone directly via Web browsers.

“ServersMan is an innovative and popular Apple iPhone app.” said Atsuki Ishida, FreeBit President and CEO. “Finally, Windows Marketplace for Mobile has opened. To obtain ServersMan, people simply search for and select this app on Marketplace. Additionally, ServersMan supports Windows Mobile phone in the English language and has a sharing function, which is a great new feature. I’m very excited to announce the worldwide availability of this app for Windows Mobile phone users.”

ServersMan@Windows Mobile 2.1? focuses on sharing data safely via the Internet. Users select the data to share and select“Send”in the menu list to hash a URL. “Customers asked us to provide a way to share data with a limited number of people. Hash URL is the answer. I believe this will be very useful,” said Noriaki Misawa, manager of the ServersMan products and strategic design center.

Users log in their own cloud storage in a Windows Mobile phone at serversman.com to upload, download and share data like documents, spreadsheets, presentations, movies, music, and other content. In addition, ServersMan has a web server service that supports mash-up. By starting up ServersMan, people can access web pages on a phone by using specific URLs.

Users need only install ServersMan and complete the easy registration process. FreeBit assigns an IPv6 global address to each ServersMan. Any type of connection is acceptable because FreeBit’s Cloud Switch technology automatically switches between Local IP and Global IP.

To use ServersMan@Windows Mobile 2.1?, Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1/6.5 (Professional or Classic) is required. This software is also available for downloading from ServersMan.com.

It’s always a great idea to constantly backup your contacts to a remote site. The iDrive Lite with the remote secure server, just does the right thing for you. Backing up the contacts on your BlackBerry is simply a tap of the button on the app. And when you’ve mistakenly deleted a contact on your BlackBerry, you can then simply tap the “Restore” button on the iDrive Lite app to restore the deleted contact.

The iDrive Lite app provides a couple of restore options such as Restore all (restore all without wiping existing contacts), selective store, clean slate restore (cleans all contact first before restoring) and restore from another device.

The iDrive Lite app can be obtained from the BlackBerry App World. There is also a version of iDrive Lite made for the iPhone, which you can get it from the iDrive website. And iDrive also provides other versions of iDrive app, which allows you to backup more data instead of only contacts, but costs you a monthly subscription fee.

It’s the touchscreen. The BlackBerry Storm 2 will come with a more user-friendly SurePress touchscreen display. The revamped touchscreen display will be capable of detecting different levels of pressures at any point of the screen, which is different from the Storm 1 that only responds to simple clicks.

The new SurePress screen on the BlackBerry Storm 2 actually uses peizo-electric which might make it the next big thing in touchscreen technology – the peizo-electric-powered touchscreen combines the benefits of multi-touch with good feedback. The video below shows that how the new Storm 2’s peizo-touchscreen works, how the technology allows the display to become stiff when it’s powered off and become spongy when powered on. The BlackBerry Storm 2 will pack with WiFi and come to Verizon in October.

HTC has done something on the new user interface on the HTC Touch Diamond 2, which the Windows Mobile 6.1 has been hidden as much as possible. The specs of the Touch Diamond 2 are as follows:

    * Windows Mobile 6.1
* Qualcomm 7600 processor @ 528MHz
* 5 megapixel autofocus camera/Anti-handshaking
* gpsOne (aGPS and full GPS)

On the HTC Mega, there are more details about its specs. And the Mega is smaller than the Touch Diamond 2. Specs of HTC Mega are as follows:

Other than the two, there is also another China-bound Dopod handset. The HTC Tachi, which has the following details.
