Pentax intros Optio RS1500 2nd-gen customizable camera

Pentax has rolled out the second generation of its customizable cameras, called the Pentax Optio RS1500. The camera offers swappable faceplates and lens rings, allowing for personalization of its look but also keeping its size compact.

HTC Thunderbolt gets official on Verizon, coming March 17 for $250

World’s smallest video camera is as small as a grain of salt

Video camera can be small as a grain of salt which measures only 1 cubic millimeter. Such a super tiny video camera was developed by engineers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration. Despite the super tiny size, this super tiny video cam is able to record video at a resolution of 62,500 pixels.

Virtual reality parachuting system helps training soldiers in parachuting

Ministry of defense showcased a virtual reality parachuting system at a press event at RAF Brize Norton last week. The VR parachuting system is meant for helping training soldiers to gain experience in parachuting. The VR parachute training system is not meant to replace real life training, but it’s good for the trainees to practise it over and over again in a safe environment, so they can be more familiar and confident while going for a real life training.
