Elgato has announced the EyeTV HD, a device that allows you to watch, record and edit satellite or cable HDTV on your Mac computer. The EyeTV HD connects your Mac directly to the satellite or cable receiver. It comes with the capability to record in iPad and iPhone formats and stream the recorded content to the Apple devices directly using the EyeTV app.

Hitachi has added a new 42-inch LED HDTV, L42-XP05, into its Wooo XP05 series HDTV range. The 42-inch HDTV tops at full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. The Hitachi TV has the ability to reduce unnecessary glare and sharpen the picture expressions.
