Of course, what firstly clicks your mind is, yes, this is the greatest sex toy ever and it guides you to locate where the right spot is! Well, no! It’s not. So, a big disappointment? It’s just a GPS interface, definitely, it’s true that it’ll guide you to the right spot. The vibrating ring, even though works only as a GPS interface, but it seems to work a little bit funny. Its way of guiding you is by using combinations of gentle vibration and buzz. The ring comes in pair, which you wear on your fingers, it’ll vibrate and buzz gently to direct you to move either backward, forward, left or right until you get to your destination safe and sound. If you get to the wrong spot, both rings will buzz. Since the ring is pretty small in size, it comes with a remote control, so you can use it for inputting some text up to 8 characters, which is sufficient for a zip code. The remote control can be worn either round the neck or clipped onto clothing. Anyway, it’s still a concept.

Mio is going to release a new GPS-enabled Pocket PC phone in March this year, the Mio A501. This phone looks a bit shorter compared to some other Mio models as if it has no butt! Despite its dwarf nature, it’s got same features as others, such as same size, a screen of 240×320 and will only weigh 135 grams with battery and run Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition AKU 3.5 on a TI processor.
The Mio A501 is a quad-band GSM phone with bluetooth support, with both USB port and SD/MMC slots. The system of course comes with an embedded GPS chip, namely the SiRF Star III. The battery’s capacity is 1050mAh. It’s also got a 2MP digital camera.

It sounds quite complicated to find your way out in a city in Japan. This is due to no street names or house numbers. The Japanese seem to like using more number ordering to replace street names and house numbers, which you’ll normally get something like 3rd district, 9th block, 4th house etc. Obviously, without a good GPS system in your car, you will be risk of losing your direction and failing to find your way out. The latest Clarion GPS, the DrivTrax P5, is an autonomous SiRF GPS with 2GB of expandable internal memory (with its SD port, for audio and video), and a 4.3†display. It measures 132×90.5×22mm, weights 198g and has 4.5 hours of autonomy. It runs Windows CE 5.0. No words on pricing and availability. Don’t forget to bring along a GPS system, if you plan for a tour to Japan soon!
