The gadget world has lots of great things for us and even aim to give us magic. As we have seen that the control glove simply brings some magic to our fingertips. Here is another one, which has a cool name, Brainball, it gives your brain control power over your game. Brainball is the result of latest development in neuro-technology, by Emotiv’s Project Epoc. It is a controller that straps to your head, lets you interface with your game console and also PCs.
Brainball has sensors to tune into your brain signal for detecting your thoughts, feelings and expression. If you’re playing a Wii Kung Fu game, make sure you present fully your Kung Fu action and shout the “hu ha” along with it! The Brainball connects wirelessly with all game platforms from consoles to PCs. It’d be great that this headset to be further developed into controlling our PC and some other gadgets, so I could just use my thoughts to post at TechChee, without the hassle of typing!

After YouTube has been acquired by Google for about $1.6 billion and the recently reported the three YouTube’s founders have made multi-millions of dollars from it, it’d have triggered more sites venturing into the video uploading/streaming area or offering a side service for uploading videos.
Here is the website with the combination of video and another hot, Wii. Wiitube is a new site dedicated to Wii videos and smack talk. The creator works with the guy who created Wiiminder. What are the two best things in the world of technology today? Obviously it is the Nintendo Wii and Uploading Videos. So why not combine them? Oh, we did, and we got Wiitube!
Clearly, niches must be filled! Does it serve a niche?

By taking a look at the attached picture, you’d have said that the Toshiba’s helmet does nothing good but only killing its users! Imagine gamers who have to carry a TV-box-like helmet that weighs about 6 pounds, which is simply neck-cracking. Furthermore, it looks pretty suffocating having to wear that helmet while gaming. The idea of Toshiba’s is simply to give gamers the experience of 360-degree view while watching television or playing video games.
Although this helmet had been announced last year, there are really few issues that Toshiba has to be concerned of before its release, such as if users can breath properly while wearing this helmet and also insurance might need to be included for neck injuries.

Wii have the concerns that gamers might stay out of touch with the outside world due to too much gaming. In order to help gamers stay in touch with what’s happening in the outside world, they’ve just launched an online news service through its popular Wii console.
The Wii news channel features top news stories and photographs from The Associated Press. Consoles with a broadband Internet connection and the Opera Web browser will be able to access the free news channel, which will offer AP news in multiple languages. Japanese-language news will come from a separate agency.
The news channel is equiped with an interactive map, which gamers can easily zoon in and out of areas of the world. If you wanna focus on religional news or national news of the U.S, you just blow up the map of the U.S. No intention yet from Wii to put ads on the news channel.
