Clock with stylish or artistic appearance will always give you some confusion on reading the time. It shouldn’t be your only time source that you depend on while you’re in a rush for an urgent meeting. What about this Karlsson Spider Clock? I think it shouldn’t be too confusing. Although it doesn’t have a white clock face that has big numbers printed on it for the hours. But, it should be pretty easy for you to check the hour and read the time precisely.
The Spider Clock is made out of a metal and plastic chrome. It’s 30cm in diameter and with two big hands, which should be big and outstanding enough to make an impressive impact in any room.

Whether you like it or not, the big gorilla that squats next to the lady is a giant coat hanger. Its body is full of “hair”, which is the many thousands of hooks for you to hang your coat. Perhaps, it’s good to be placed at the entrance of the office of a big company that has over thousands of employees. It’s the design of Scottish artist David Mach.

When space is extremely limited in your tiny apartment, then this is what you really need. A bookcase that has also taken the concept from the Transformer, which can transform into a bed. A mattress stands upright in four bits and forms the bulk of the bookcase. These surround five storage shelves which are suspended in mid-air by a wall mounted frame. The mattress sections are placed on the floor and slot together to form the bed – with two parts for a single, or all four to make a double. This is the design designer Karen Babel.

In terms of art, the Panda Chair is simply cool. But for geeks, this wouldn’t be something reasonable that having to sacrifice hundreds of blank CDs to make this chair. The Panda Chair is claimed to be assembled by using hundreds of blank CDs. Yes, blank, meaning the CDs are still useful that can let you store tons of your precious data, porn clips etc.
Anyway, there is a need to sacrifice for art. If I were the designer, I’d have tried to collect those CDs full of scratches that are hardly readable instead of blank ones to build up this artistic chair. This chair was recently being displayed at Nude Pavilion for the International Furniture Fair of Valencia. Anyway, if one day Sony had run out of business in the computer and music industry, perhaps, they could consider venturing into the furniture line with the thousand tons of blank CDs stuck in their warehouse.

If you happened to find some kind of oversized and illuminating jellyfishes floating next to you in the swimming pool. Don’t panic, they aren’t the floating sea-living organism that could kill. It’s just the Medusa lamp that is shaped like a jellyfish that feeds on the sunlight during daytime and shines your way through to let you have a brighter path to enjoy your swimming during night time. Sorry, it’s still too early to talk about such a nice floating lamp for your swimming pool as it’s only a concept. Well, a nice concept!
