The need for 3D in our entertainment life, we have got 3D TVs so we need more gears that can record 3D videos with ease. The latest announcement by Sharp is they’ve readied a 3D camera module and demonstrated its capability of capturing 3D videos at 720p HD quality.

Sony is prepping two new cameras that present some confusion in between the DSLRs and the point-and-shoot cameras. The two new Sony cameras, NEX-3 and NEX 5 come in slim bodies, slimmer than many point-and-shoots but they pack huge lenses, with DSLR sensor hiding in them and the ability to let you swap lenses.

The prototype of the Sony’s EX3 3D camcorder has emerged and come with a promise that a commercial version to be on its way. This Sony 3D camcorder has two lenses and packs six CMOS chips – three for each lens. The two lenses and guts are basically taken from two Sony PMW-EX3 studio cameras, and packed into a single shell for this EX3 3D prototype; which each has the capability of recording 35Mbps 1080p 4:2:0 MPEG-2 video.

Samsung plans to launch a limited edition of its NX10 Hybrid DSLR, which comes housed in a white case and is destined for sale on May 7th. The white NX10 Hybrid DSLR will come in slightly larger size than the Micro Four Thirds camera but is smaller than the regular DSLR cameras.

BenQ has announced a new camera in its line, the E1260 HDR (High Dynamic Range) which makes use of the HDR technology to allow you to take great shots even in toughest lighting condition. The E1260 HDR camera comes with a 12-megapixel sensor, a 28mm 4x optical wide angle zoom lens and is capable of recording HD video at 720p.

The Phantom Flex camera from Vision Research is a super fast camera that is capable of capturing full HD 1080p video at an ultra fast frame rate of 2,800 fps. The super fast frame rate allows it to capture something that goes extremely fast, such as the lightning flashes through the evening sky.
