This Chinese cell phone is really worth my attention here. It’s a cellphone that features a 3.5-inch LCD, an array of speakers, multimedia player, voice recorder, Bluetooth, an e-dictionary, and USB connectivity.. Ooppss, up to here, it seems everything normal, all listed are the common features that you’ll get from today’s cell phones, right? Hang on, it’s got little extra here, it comes with an attachable zoom lens.

It’s really so small, smaller than a match head, as shown on the picture. It’s the single chip camera, OV6920 CameraChip, just introduced by TDC. The sensor chip is only 1.4mm (1/18 inch), which enables microscopic camera modules to be setup at a total size of 3.2mm in diameter. You know, what the baddies could do using such a hardly noticeable camera and it’s so easy to get it hidden at any corner to take any snapshot of you’re changing, bathing…. It’s only capable of shooting at low resolution of 328×250, but I think that’s all enough for doing the mentioned. The chip is configurable for NTSC output and can adjust its color saturation, exposure and gain automatically. This chip needs only low 3.3V DC power supply, suitable for low-power applications, especially good for those spy gears or the good side for medical application.

HP’s new digital camera, Photosmart R937, comes with a wide 3.6″ touch-screen display and capable of capturing images in 8 megapixel resolution. This camera shows some uniqueness that you don’t find from other digital cameras. Such as it’s most likely inspired by the kind of web 2.0 experience that we’re pretty used to i.e. able to tag your images with Vista-compatible tags that makes searching of images very much easier on a PC. Other features on the R937 include auto red eye fix, pet eye fix, slimming, steady photo anti-shaking tech, 3x optical zoom with 8x digital, couple of photo editing options. It comes with a rechargeable battery and a 32MB onboard memory. The HP Photosmart R937 is priced at $299.99 and will go on sale in August 2007.

Canon has got a new sensor, which is still in the CMOS prototype that can provide up to 50 megapixel. This is reportedly almost twice the resolution of its nearest competition. The sensors are expected to be used for large format surveillance camera for monitoring large, busy areas such as parking lots and theme parks, and factory part inspections etc. This prototype is at 19 x 28mm in size, which is having the same dimensions with the sensors in its DSLR cameras. Perhaps, Canon would use it in its camera line-up later. So far, they haven’t got plan for release for the prototype.

This gadget is a pair of sunglasses that has a digital camera attached to the side. It comes with a hand held remote control, which you can just have a click of a button on the remote control anytime to have some pictures captured for you. But I think its attached camera on the side is simply a little too big and obvious. Which someone could easily know that there was some trick with your sunglasses and then they could do something to avoid being captured by you. The sunglasses itself do take care of your eyes from sunlight as it features UV protection. If you wanna experience to live the life of James Bond, then you can get a pair to try yourself.

Casio is not alone for the world’s highest resolution, 12 megapixel digital cameras. Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FX100 is another 2 megapixel high-resolution camera. This camera is pretty compact, which packs a 1/1.72-inch, 12.2 megapixel CCD, and it manages to squeeze in a 28mm wide-angle Leica DC lens with 3.6x optical zoom. It’s also equiped with couple of blur reduction technologies such as VE III processing along with Panny’s Mega Optical Image Stabilizer and Intelligent ISO control (up to a 6400 sensitivity). Shutter speed is 8 shots per second at full resolution. It’ capable of shooting WVGA (848 x 480) video at 30fps or 1280 x 720 at 15fps direct to SDHC/SD cards.
