Google has announced the Google Chrome OS netbooks to be coming our way. A few interesting features of the Chrome-OS powered netbook have been demoed by Google including the ability to come back up from sleep almost instantly and the HTML 5 offline storage and app-running capabilities.

D-Link has added a new consumer NAS into its line which is known as the D-Link ShareCenter Pulse. The D-link NAS has a model name of DNS-320 which comes with two 3.5-inch SATA hard-drive bays. The device also supports UPnP media streaming, iTunes server functionality, standalone BitTorrent downloads and a number of power management systems that makes it a “green” system.
The power management systems include the hard drive hibernation and also Green Ethernet which is able to control the networking power consumption depending on the state of cabling. The system also has a smart fan that regulates the temperature.
