Finally, the SE Kurara has a less blurry photo surfaced. Initially, the Kurara was said as the more entry level version of the SE Satio but actually it’s a more powerful phone that will pack an ARM Cortex A8 processor and the PowerVR GPU.

There isn’t need for a long wait for the iPhone to come with a built-in pico projector. The HypnosEye can now let you project directly of what are on the iPhone screen. And of course it works with the iPod Touch, and other mobile gadgets as well.

Here is another clone phone done by Shanzai, a clone of the HTC Snap and also looks close to the BlackBerry. It’s been given a hardly memorable name called COOLe8900-2 or just call it COOLe in short. The COOLe is based on the Mediatek’s turnkey platform, which also powers many thousands other China-made phones.

Interesting enough, an iPhone clone was spotted, called the APhone A6, but it runs Google Android OS instead. The Aphone A6 definitely looks like an iPhone from the exterior. This phone features a 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display and it is even powered by dual-core CPU.

Protection One has announced their eSecure application for the iPhone or iPod Touch to allow the users to use the iPhone to control and keep track of their home security panels. The eSecure app lets the iPhone/iPod Touch sync and receive real-time updates from the Protection One security panels.
Protection One security panels allow you to have various detections such as gas leakages or any possible intrusion to sensitive areas in your home. Now these security panels are able to send text alerts to an iPhone with the eSecure app installed, once something suspicious detected.
The eSecure iPhone app also allows you to control your home security system remotely. Such as checking if it’s properly armed and disarm it to let cleaning clews in while you’re at work. Read more in the press release below.

Health-conscious geeks may love the idea of having your cellphone to double up as a microscope which you could use it to sniff out any bugs and germs around. An assistant professor of electrical engineering of University of California’s NanoSystems Institute, Aydogan Ozcan, has designed a cellphone microscope that allows you to screen diseases on the run.
