Acabion GTBO – a jet-fighter-shaped vehicle has claimed the title of world’s fastest road vehicle. Acabion GTBO can reach 300 mph within 30 seconds only and its top speed is 340 mph. This vehicle is considered as the fusion of a four wheeler. On each side of the rear wheel are two mini wheels. The creator of this two wheeler calls it a “road streamliner”.

To save the environment, more and more auto makers are moving into making hybrid-electric vehicles – the type of vehicles that can feed on bio oil and use batteries alternatively, which the main objective is to improve fuel efficiency. Now, Toyota, as the leader of green auto makers, has announced that it’d build its first plug-in hybrid car by 2010. The plug-in hybrid is different from the current hybrid models, which allows recharging of the batteries from any ordinary power outlet. Conventional hybrids are recharged by power generated by the wheels.

Autonet Mobile Inc., a company that is showing off some nice gadgets for cars at CES 2008, which let you stay more connected to the Internet, even when you’re in the car. The company offers a small box for car trunks that takes a cellular broadband signal and uses Wi-Fi to relay it to portable computers in the car, so you can browse the Internet or play games while you’re inside the car. Besides, while the car is parked near your home WiFi network, you can also transfer music or video clips onto the player in the car, so you’ll have fully loaded with nice tunes and clips for your next journey.
