We’ve seen quite a number of those digital photo holders before, such as the Kodak one. But the one from Samsung, SPH-72P photo frame, seems to be much smarter. It’s equiped with Wi-Fi and will automatically search for PCs with Vista. And it will display those photos, movies and MP3 stored on the Vista PCs via Windows Media Player 11. Somemore, it knows how to fetch photos from the Internet via RSS. If you have a photo blog or some photos on flickr, you can set it to fetch those feeds.
The SPH-72P photo frame comes with a 4-in-1 memory card reader and a USB port for cameras and portable storage devices. It offers a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800 pixels by 480 pixels. Later this year, Samsung will release the bigger version of its, they’re the 8 and the 12 inch versions. The 7-inch will cost around $305.00.

This is not meant to be laughed. As I mentioned before geeks like us always lack of some kind of execise. Therefore, we’d be the group at high risk developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) Mouse, besides it works as a mouse, while using it, you can just strap the 2 pads that come with it on any part of your body, to give you a nice tone-up.

For its mouse function, it is a high spec optical mouse with 800dpi resolution. As pictured, it looks exactly like standard mouse. To have the EMS to work, you just need to connect the pad cable to it. While using it as a mouse, the EMS system works as well simultaneously. There are two buttons on the mouse, which the at the bottom is for the power on/off for the EMS. Whereas the one on top is for controlling the 3 simulation modes. Furthermore, the simulation level can be adjusted by pushing plus and minus switches on the side of the mouse. So, anytime, just strap the pads on your tummy, you shoulder or your back, then you’re able to tone them up without getting attention to others. It’s got built-in auto-power-off feature, which automatically shuts off in one hour, if your forget to turn the power off. Of course, it takes power from your PC’s USB port. It includes 2 sets of pads, pad case, pad cable and of course the mouse.

There are tons of USB flash drives out there in the market. Most of them besides coming from different manufacturers and boasting different storage sizes, they all serve no difference. In order to make it more marketable, some manufacturers, just pre-install some kind of software onto it.

Here is an idea of AmberAlert, by adding a software program, called AmberAlert Child ID Kit (As the attached screen). This software allows you to store and organize the information of your child (biographical data, vital stats, relatives, places where they hang out, where they go online, etc.) in one location. It works only one child at a time. This idea is to let you have all the information to cling on if an unlucky abduction happened to your child. Touch wood! The USB drive itself is a Kingston’s product.

The Drowse Prevention Alarm works similarly to the two gadgets that we’ve seen before, the Drive Master and the Anti-Doze glasses. This little ear plug just costs you as little as $10.30, which could save your life if you’re the one prone to nodding off while driving. If your head tilt for almost 10 degree, then the alarm will buzz like a wake up kick. This greatly reduces the chance of you colliding into others’ vehicles that could result a fatal accident.
The gadget is battery-operated, which has three settings, they’re off, low or high. You have to know what setting suits you. Definitely, it’s not the “off” for those drivers prone to dozing off. Choose the “low” only if you’re feeling spiritual that day, else you will end up of lying in the hospital bed (If you’re lucky).
