Netbook users are totally upset by the Windows 7 starter edition as the new OS comes with limitations, which you didn’t get with Windows XP on netbooks. Most netbook users were unaware of the limitations although Microsoft have openly said that the starter edition can’t do everything.

Apple’s next Mac OS X updates will kill Hackintosh netbooks

Snow Leopard updates will kill hackintoshIf you love the Apple Mac OS X but you love more the portability of a netbook, what you can do is to make your own Hackintosh netbook by making use of software hack to install the Mac OS X on a netbook.

But rumors seem to tell that Apple would plan to have updates for their OS X Snow Leopard operating system, which the next release would not come with the support of Intel Atom processors. So if you’d proceed for an update of the Mac OS X on your netbook, the consequence could be your Hackintosh’d stop running.

Microsoft has officially released a tool, called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (WUDT), which allows the creation of a bootable USB installer for its Windows 7 OS. USB installer provides the convenience for installation of the Windows 7 on netbooks, which eliminates the need to hook up an external DVD drive.
