The new iPad offers you stunning, double-resolution Retina Display, better 5MP camera, LTE connectivity and a faster A5X processor, while compared to its predecessor. But due to all these great things, it’s been found that the new iPad is running warmer after using it for a couple of hours.

Actually, the new iPad is not too much warmer than the iPad 2. Tweakers.net has used a thermal camera to find out the difference in temperature between the new iPad and iPad 2. Under average use, the new iPad is just about 5 degrees C warmer than the iPad 2. But the 5 degrees C would make some users uncomfortable while holding it during their game plays or movie watching. Anyway, Apple have their response as follows:

“The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications. If customers have any concerns they should contact AppleCare.”
