Huawei has some cool smartphones to show at MWC 2012. Huawei Ascend D is the first high-end smartphone announced by Huawei at the show. The handset is the first evert smartphone powered by a quad-core processor – a 1.5GHz K3 Quad-Core A9 processor that packs 16 GPU inside.
The Huawei Ascend D smartphone runs Android 4.0 ICS, offers a 4.5-inch 720p HD touchscreen display with 330ppi pixel density, which matches the iPhone 4S. It also offers LTE connectivity, can be a great handset for your audio and video, offering Dolby 5.1 sound.
It’s also pretty slim, measuring 8.9mm in thickness and has a 1,800mAH battery that’s dubbed to last one to two days.
The K3 quad-core chip is claimed to run faster and cooler than the NVidia Tegra 3, and consumes 50 percent less power.Huawei also has two other models in its Ascend D series, which are called Ascend D Quad XL and Ascend D1, offering a 2300mAh battery and a dual-core processor respectively. No info about the pricing and availability about these Huawei Ascend D smartphones yet.
